| Asia Product Manager |
|
Duties:
- Identifies market trends and product gaps of company
- Evaluate product opportunities and risks and come to a decision to start the NEP process to strengthen company’s market position
- Takes full account for the product definition process
- Actively shapes and leads the market introduction process
- Proactively thinks outside the box
- Identifies and pioneers new ideas which deliver competitive advantage
- Optimizes the product and entire portfolio according to its market needs and competitive advantage
- Takes responsibility for the product-life cycle management for his portfolio
- Create and carry out (product-) trainings for internal and external customers
- He/she is the expert in Asia for product/technology know-how and application/ market needs
- Exchange and align market opportunities and know-how with PM functions in HQ
- Ensures a constant and proper communication and knowledge exchange between all project-, market- and strategy teams
- Establishes and maintains an international expert team (main focus on HQ, GCN and North Asia)
- Team player: Ability to work in a team environment, high communication skills
and patience with others
- Mentoring: Train, motivate and guide engineers teams, to make them
understand the market requirements
- Willing to share experience and knowledge
- Proactive and push projects moving forward
Requirements:
- Bachelor or above degree.Studies: mechanical engineering , electrical engineering or comparable qualification
- 5+ years of work experience in an Automation environment
- Robot or end of arm knowledge is plus
- Broad understanding of Automation markets, applications and needs
- High level of self motivation, strategic approach, creativity and enthusiasm
- Multiply tasks and prioritization management
- Problem solving, time management, prioritization and awareness of business and finance implications
- Easy understand and solve complex situations
- Basic SAP knowledge
- Excellent presentation skills
- Good at verbal and written English |
